ANNOUNCEMENTS

TWIN PRECISION MANUFACTURING

In February, we were pleased to annouce our first industrial annoucement in 2008. Twin Precision Manufacturing based in New York will build a 12,000 square foot facility expanding another 24,000 square feet in the future. They will initially invest over $2 million and hire 15 people. The company will build airplane parts for Boeing and the military. John Brechisici, President, said he selected Brunswick County because of its central location on the east coast, low costs and he wanted a locality near a metro area with water access for his boat.

BPG PROPERTIES LTD.

BPG Properties, a private equity real estate fund manager, plans to develop a 975,000 square foot global warehouse distribution center in Leland Industrial Park. The project named The North Carolina Port Industrial facility, will be the only new, large, institutional grade facility available to support the Port of Wilmington's growing container volumes from Asia.

When completed, this facility will bring hundreds of jobs and provide a steady tax base to the citizens of Brunswick County. We believe the facility will encourage other port related industries to relocate to Brunswick County and help fuel our local global economy.
