Railroads

Brunswick County is served by CSXT railroad. The rail connects the port of Wilmington with points west via Brunswick County. There are several industrial spurs in Brunswick County to serve industrial parks and sites.

CSX Transportation Davis Yard - Leland, NC
Provides freight transportation and serves as the base for switching operations, the facility is three miles long with 55 separate tracks and a 2,250 car capacity. Piggy-back service is also provided by modern highway loading and unloading facilities. Offers long-haul and short-haul trick service and has transloading facility for dry and liquid bulk products, warehouses for lumber, paper and packaged products, and steel centers for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
